Too bad for BYU...

My condolences to all those BYU fanatics, better luck next year. Now Utah is going to its 2nd BCS bowl and BYU has been to ... I forget ... How many? ... Oh yeah ... zero. It ain't no thang the Vegas Bowl is fun... that's where BYU will end up. Right? I really don't care. I actually did want BYU to win but it certainly doesn't break my heart to see them lose, especially with all those interceptions, that was pretty funny. Anyway, Fight On! Let's have a Fiesta! (wink, wink)

A Quicky

We made a trip down to California to take a tour of the USC Dental School, we got to watch a little bit of class, meet some students, teachers and others. It was a good time. We had a couple of hours to just walk around campus, and one of the people we saw was Taylor Mays. We walked right by him and I said to Blair, "That is Taylor Mays.", Blair said "Was he the one knocking all those guys out in the Cal game?", Me - "Yeah", Blair - "I can see why/how." So it is fair to say he is a big kid. Later we were hanging out if Heritage Hall looking at the Heisman Trophies, and Rey Maulaluga comes walking by. I said 'What's up Rey?' and he responded with a 'How's it going?' He didn't look so scary in a T-shirt and shorts, but his hair was all over. So those were some highlights of the trip.

Halloween Party

This was the first time that I have dressed up for Halloween in a long time. Here are some of the costumes that were at this killer party with us.....

These \/ were the hosts of the party.... Great Hosts!!

I don't think I need to explain any of the costumes, they are all pretty easy to get, if you need help, leave a comment and I might get back to you, but we might have to schedule an appointment (I'm pretty busy). We all then went bowling in our costumes, which was quite an adventure in and of itself. I haven't beat my wife in a long time ..... in bowling. Since like before she was my wife long time, and this night was no different (dressing up like a superhero didn't give me any super bowling powers), she won again, but I didn't feel so bad because she beat everyone else too! Down 28 pins going into the 10th frame and she bowls a Turkey to beat Kent by 2 points (sorry Kent, she's cold blooded like that). She was just a little excited.

Fight On!

Quick Summer Review

We went on a cruise with friends: Jeremy and Brieann, and had a great time.

We were able to watch the NBA playoffs, the Lakers were in the middle of falling behind against the Spurs at this point, only to come back and win... ...then lose.

The waves at Cabo were fairly large...

This bus appeared to have some problems following the road signs...

We took a trip to San Diego with Blair's family and made the usual stops: Sea World, The San Diego Zoo, and the beach. Here are some pics from Sea World.

And one from the beach... Real nice Blair!!!

And this is what we traveled in... Quite the ride!

After San Diego, it was immediately off to Lake Powell for our annual family vacation on the house boats. Again it was a great time pictures wouldn't do it justice even if I had any. After that vacation we were off in a motor home to Northern California to my Grandparents 50th Wedding Anniversary Party, which was a huge success. Again, no pics. So that was our summer in a pine nut shell. Guess I'll be back around March to post about the Holidays.

Happy Anniversary!

Well today was our 2nd Anniversary, how exciting. I got some new blinds, they are the coolest blinds that have ever graced the Sageview Townhomes. Here's a couple pictures.
Yes, that is a giant map of St. George. How cool is that? The first one was taken during the day, so that's why it is so bright. Anyway I know what you're thinking, did he make that himself? And the answer is yes, well I didn't draw the map, but as far as turning it into blinds, yeah, that was all me. Blair has wanted blinds since the day we moved in (like a year and a half ago), we just never went out and bought them. And I was kinda getting tired of the neighbor lady peeking over the wall and watching me walk around our kitchen naked (kidding, its actually more than just one lady). Anyway, now they can find some other guy to peep at cause our back sliding glass door is officially covered. I think that she will love it, at least she should be surprised, even though I did warn her, I don't think she thought I was serious. My wife is so good, she is up at Girls Camp right now, which totally gave me a free pass to forget that today was our anniversary, but I didn't, July 1st, is kinda a hard date to forget, I mean it is basically the midpoint of the whole year, that helps me remember it at least. So she is at camp cause she is fulfilling her duty and sacrificing our day for her girls, it's okay though, since we already celebrated our day with our cruise to Mexico in May. After thinking about this camp deal I think that she might have planned to be gone on this day so that there was no way that I could ruin it, I couldn't say something stupid, or forget dinner or anything, I almost went up to camp, but then I thought better of it, I'll just let her plan go through. And if that really was a plan then it was a great one, but if it wasn't then it was just a dumb thought by me. She really is wonderful, and I wish I could've spent the day with her. She does so many wonderful things that I would have to retitle this post 'The Never Ending Post'. And since this day is about 'us', and the commitment that 'we' made, I feel obliged to fill in for her and share her thoughts about her husband. His qualities aren't so endless so I'll list them all. He is wonderful, strong, handsome, helpful, courteous, a wakesurfing 360 champion, energetic, calm, cool, collected, determined, wise (way beyond his years), smart, intelligent, caring, sensitive, understanding, a great listener, strong, humble (extremely humble), did I say very strong. Well that's about it about him. And that's about it for this post, a little long I know, get over it. Adios, rohayhu che amor.

So Nice...

Finals are over, so I can relax, sort of. I'm taking the DAT in two weeks so I should probably hit the books some more. Then its off to Mexico on a cruise for some real R&R. In 'n Out has officially opened in St. George, I'll just say I've been a few times already, it is so nice to have it so readily available, soooo nice.

Fisrt Post

K, I'll get this out of the way here's the first post. And that's all its gonna be nothing else to it.
