It was such a wonderful day at Disneyland today. Fall was in the air. It was so nice to have cooler weather and super short lines.

Reese just loves going to Disneyland with her friend Avonlea.

The first ride we went on was the Jungle Cruise. We had the funniest tour guide I've ever had. He was cracking jokes left and right. This was Reese's first time and she was a bit nervous seeing all the jungle animals. Towards the end of the ride, piranhas started splashing and jumping out of the water. It was right by us and took me off guard, so it made me jump and scream a little, but I scared Reese and she started to cry. That is the first ride Reese has cried on, but I know it was all my fault.

Here we are on Dumbo again

We rode the train that goes all the way around Disneyland

Reese smiled at waved at all the people on the row behind us

So much to look at!

Reese is always so glad to get out of her carseat and move around after we get home.

Every morning, Reese locates where her stuffed horse is and waves to it. Then she crawls over to it and gives it loves. She is the sweetest thing.

Today she found the shuttle to play with too.

Reese decided to help me sort the clothes.

She made sure the colors made it into her basket after I tossed them to her.

Once the sorting is done, laundry is serious business.

She crawled into the laundry basket 3-4 times by the time I got the clothes in the washer.

Pumpkin Patch and Roscoe's

We had to take our little pumpkin to a pumpkin patch for her first Halloween.
This pumpkin is bigger than she is!

"Mom, I think I'm stuck"

"You want me to do what?"

Reese is so friendly! She waves to everyone.

On the way home we decided to stop for dinner at Roscoe's chicken and waffles.
Reese waving at some more people.

She has some quick hands. She thoroughly enjoyed eating the chicken and waffle.

She loves playing peek-a-boo all throughout the day

The Endeavour

I wanted to see the Endeavour shuttle before we moved from Los Angeles, and today I can cross that off of my bucket list.

The perimeter of the hanger was covered with the timeline of each shuttle's missions. The Challenger was lost 5 months before I was born. My mom remembers watching the Challenger launch and explode on TV while she was sitting in the doctor's office pregnant with me.

It was amazing to see all the tiles along the bottom of the shuttle that were specifically placed and pieced together. Certain tiles were located in certain areas because each tile was designed to withstand a certain degree of heat.

We explored the California Science Center and found an ice wall. After holding our hand on the wall for 5 seconds, the worker would compare the temperatures of both our hands. I was surprised to see Reese hold her hand on the wall.

While Tyler was at school, we went shopping and did errands. While my mom and I were in Joann's getting fabric for our Halloween costumes, Reese went on a walk around the block with Grampa Dennis.

More shopping at Trader Joe's

I can't believe this little lady is 10 months old today! She is growing up so fast and is such a joy to have around.

Reese has mastered how to click a pen

Tonight I was working on our Halloween costumes, then next thing I know, Wes comes over and him and Tyler head down the hall to our room. When they didn't come back out after a few minutes, I thought I'd better go and investigate. I discovered this. They were shaving Tyler's first "neck beard."

The neck beard
My first thoughts were that he looked a little Amish or like Abraham Lincoln.

Reese seems to really like the song, "What does the fox say?" She always smiles when I sing it to her. So today while feeding her lunch, I started singing it to her. After I sang the part that says "and the seal goes ow-ow-ow," Reese copied me by saying o-o-o. It was so cute, so of course we had to find the real song for Reese to sing to. It was hard trying to get her to do it on video, so this is as close as I got.

I knew she was super tired if she was able to fall asleep without her binky

Tyler had another intramural soccer game. Yesterday's game was for his intermediate team and tonight's game was for his advanced team. Reese enjoyed walking down the sidewalk along the wall of the planter. She kept finding pretty leaves and twirling them by the stem. The field is right by the John McKay building, which is dedicated strictly to the student athletes. A lot of them would stop and talk with Reese as they walked by towards the door.

Her hands and feet were so dirty after all the ground she covered

Reese isn't ready to part with this infant tub yet. She has been bathing in our regular tub for a couple of months now, but when I got it out so that I can return it to our friends, Reese climbed right in and started playing.

We got to watch Tyler's first intramural soccer game tonight. Reese is the cutest little cheerleader.
