Happy Halloween

We got to have lunch with dad today at school! His group practice was having a potluck lunch, so we got to join in. We paraded Reese around and she even got some candy from people. Everyone loved her!

Say "cheese"

We went to Costco to get some rolls...and get my eyes checked. Apparently I could use some glasses.

Halloween tradition: cheese soup

We met up with some friends at Eddie Park. Reese was so excited to go trick-or-treating.

"Look mom, no hands!" She has been doing so well at standing by herself.

She was having a blast!

We didn't even make it to the corner of the block before she was sound asleep.

Then we went over to the Andrew's for some Halloween fun.

We dressed all warm and cozy for Disneyland today, but we were fooled by the forecast. It turned out to be a warm beautiful sunny day.

She enjoyed the Jungle Cruise much more today. I was prepared for those piranhas.

We took a detour through Fantasy Faire and met a few princesses. They wouldn't tell us who 2 of the 3 princesses were. Turns out we've met a couple of them before.

Cinderella

Ariel

We hadn't met Aurora "Sleeping Beauty" yet, so that was a fun surprise.

Reese and Bentley standing in line for the Alice in Wonderland ride. She is too cute in her skinny jeans and pink Uggs.

During her nap I got to meet Donald Duck

and Chip!

This little girl is so much fun to hang out with. We sang and danced to pandora, and tried on hats.

and played around with the photo booth app on the computer. She wasn't quite sure what to think of it.

I was finally able to get a picture of her standing all by herself. I can't believe how fast she is growing up!

Trunk-Or-Treat

Candy bar family for Halloween! Reese is the cutest Reese's peanut butter cup I have ever seen. I just want to eat her up!

Just in case you didn't know what Almond Joy has that Mounds don't

Reese and dad trunk-or-treating while mom handed out candy

We let her play with her Halloween candy after she was all ready for bed. We forgot to take a picture of her with her candy while in her costume. She was thrilled! Too bad there is a 100% parent candy tax in place this year. We don't want any cavities in her little pearly whites.

We went to the sample sale today and here's our loot.
Hand knitted beanie $6

Babymel diaper bag $20

The sample sale is in the fashion district in downtown Los Angeles. We showed up nice and early because we wanted to get the nice diaper bags before they were gone. The office that sells the diaper bags opens later than the other offices, so I took a look in some of the other offices while Mandy saved our spot in line. We were the first ones in and snagged the 2 cutest bags. The diaper bag retails for $110. What a deal!

Getting into mom's make-up

Wednesday, October 23, 2013

It was such a wonderful day at Disneyland today. Fall was in the air. It was so nice to have cooler weather and super short lines.

Reese just loves going to Disneyland with her friend Avonlea.

The first ride we went on was the Jungle Cruise. We had the funniest tour guide I've ever had. He was cracking jokes left and right. This was Reese's first time and she was a bit nervous seeing all the jungle animals. Towards the end of the ride, piranhas started splashing and jumping out of the water. It was right by us and took me off guard, so it made me jump and scream a little, but I scared Reese and she started to cry. That is the first ride Reese has cried on, but I know it was all my fault.

Here we are on Dumbo again

The submarine ride

Meeting Ariel

We rode the train that goes all the way around Disneyland

Reese smiled at waved at all the people on the row behind us

So much to look at!

Reese is always so glad to get out of her carseat and move around after we get home.
